Following the example of other bands experimenting with the internet, Coldplay has released their new single for free download. "Violet Hill," apparently is harder and more experimental than the usual Coldplay material. Which sounds incredibly interesting to me. The only problem is that due to high demand the website crashed, and now that it is up and running, I can't seem to be able to download the song. You are welcome to try and download it yourself, let me know if you have any success. Coldplay is also playing three upcoming free concerts in the U.K. I can't wait to see where the band goes from here.

if you aren't able to download the song you can listen to it at this website....I thought it was pretty good.
